FURTHER to your article earlier this week, what does replacing "all the street lights" mean for our conservation areas?
And WHEN are our seafront heritage lamps going to be reinstated?
Brighton and hove City Council have been replacing our seafront heritage lamps with horrible cheap-looking lights, apparently on a "temporary" basis.
Meanwhile some heritage lamps have been sold and lost which need to be re-cast and replaced.
How can it not be possible in this day and age to have warm-lighting clear eco bulbs too, rather than harsh LED ones which destroy the romance of our city and give us headaches to look at as well as looking awful in heritage fittings?
