POLICE have launched an investigation at a secondary school after messages emerged on social media.
The investigation relates to alleged malicious communications involving pupils at Blatchington Mill in Hove.
The Argus is aware of a series of posts on Snapchat and Instagram made by students at the school in Nevill Avenue.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “We have received a report of alleged malicious communications on a social media platform involving students from a secondary school in Hove.
“The investigation is at an early stage and there are no further details at this time.”
The messages are understood to be of a sexual nature and sent from one student to another.
