Firefighters worked through the night to extinguish a fire in a garage.
Crews from Midhurst Fire Station were called to the property in Fyning Lane, Rogate, near Petersfield, at 9.20pm yesterday and arrived to find the building was "well alight".
Reinforcements from Petworth were called in as teams continued to battle the blaze late into the night.
They were able to bring the fire under control, with crews remaining on the scene well into this morning to carry out checks.
In a statement posted on social media at 2.24am, a spokesman for Midhurst Fire Station said: "Crews remained on scene for several hours undertaking salvage and damping down hotspots.
"The incident remains open for re-inspection later this morning at first light."
