POLICE are searching for this man following an attack on a woman earlier this week.
Officers want to speak to Stephen Maurice Best following an assault on a woman known to him.
The attack is reported to have happened in Worthing on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old is white, 5ft 9in tall, with short brown hair and blue eyes, and has a tattoo of a bulldog on his right arm.
He is known to frequent the Worthing, Lancing and Pulborough areas, as well at the Coddenham area of Suffolk.
Detective Constable Emily Turner of the West Sussex Safeguarding Investigations Unit said: "We want to interview Best about an offence of causing actual bodily harm.
"If you have seen him or have any other information his whereabouts, please contact Sussex Police on 101, or 999 if he is present, quoting serial 769 of 23/03."
