POLICE have released an image of a motorcyclist after a crash that left a cyclist injured.

The appeal comes after a motorbike and a bicycle were involved in a collision on the A259 Roundstone Bypass roundabout at the junction with Old Worthing Road, Angmering.

The crash, at 5.10pm on Tuesday, March 16, left the 56-year-old cyclist with deep cuts, bruises and a broken bone in his hand.

But the motorcyclist and their passenger sped away from the scene.

Police have now launched an appeal to try and track the pair down.

Collision Investigator Connor Smith said: "We want to identify the motorcycle and the two people on it, and ask them both to come forward.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or can help us trace the bike and those two people.

"Please contact us online or by calling us on 101, quoting serial 1041 of 16/03."
