An urgent search for a vulnerable missing man who last seen at a hospital has been successful.
Paul Bowman was located safely with the assistance of Sussex Search and Rescue this afternoon.
Before this, the 60-year-old had last been seen at about 4pm yesterday at Eastbourne District General Hospital, and officers believed it was likely he was still in the area.
Sussex Police launched a public appeal for information on his whereabouts this morning saying officers were "growing concerned for his welfare".
Sussex Search and Rescue teams were also called in to help locate him.
And, this afternoon, it was confirmed that the search had been successful.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Paul Bowman, 60, who was reported missing from Eastbourne on Friday (March 26) has been located safely with the assistance of Sussex Search and Rescue."
