A NIGHTCLUB is set to take over a sports venue for a series of open air celebration parties after lockdown.
The Arch nightclub in Kings Road, Brighton, is taking over Brighton Rugby Club in Waterhall Road for four consecutive weekends from Saturday, June 26.
The LiFE In The Park festival will offer "the best in Drum and Bass, House, Bass, Disco, Hip Hop and Techno, and pretty much every sound in between".
Orbital, David Rodigan and Skream are among the DJs set to perform.
Damien Fell, general manager at The Arch and LiFE In The Park festival director, said he hopes the events will be a "light at the end of the tunnel", providing an opportunity to celebrate a return to life and normality after the coronavirus lockdowns.
He said: "At the Arch we've had a total refurbishment during lockdown, so this feels like a fresh start as well as a return to normality that everyone wants.
"The past four weeks I've been running around trying to get a line-up we can be proud of, and I think we have something for every demographic.
"I'm buzzing for it."
Up to 2,000 people will be able to attend the Life in the Park parties, and there will also a series of exclusive after parties held at the newly refurbished Arch nightclub.
The line-up also includes Nightmares on Wax, Norman Jay, Roger Sanchez, Jamie Jones and Crazy P.
Keen party-goers can sign up online from today and tickets will go on sale on a first come, first served basis on Tuesday.
