BACK in 2006, basketball fans were thrilled to watch Dennis Rodman play for the Brighton Bears.

The former Chicago Bulls star joined them for three games in what was their final season and was mobbed wherever he went.

He had recently taken part in TV’s Celebrity Big Brother and his appearances on the basketball court drew record crowds.
