POLICE are trying to find anyone who saw a car being driven erratically in the moments before a crash.

Officers were called to reports of a silver Peugeot being driven dangerously in Park Road, Rottingdean, at 11.15am on Sunday, March 21.

Just 30 minutes later, a car matching the description crashed at the junction of Falmer Road and Warren Way.

A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Sussex Police are now appealing for anyone who saw a a silver Peugeot being driven erratically in Park Road on the morning of March 21 to come forward.

A force spokesman said: "Anyone with any information, or anyone who may have any relevant dash cam or CCTV footage, is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 472 of 21/03."
