THESE are the stores in Churchill Square that will reopen as coronavirus restrictions ease on Monday.

The shopping centre in Brighton will throw open its doors and welcome back visitors from April 12 after shutting in January following the announcement of the third UK lockdown.

Under the government's roadmap to recovery, non-essential shops can open and hospitality venues can serve food and alcohol to customers sitting outdoors.

The shopping centre is already preparing for the influx of visitors, as eager residents make for the shops for the first time this year.

As part of measures to keep shoppers safe, there will be a one-way system in place, with customers asked to wear a mask when visiting.

Both the orange and green car parks will be open, as well as toilets throughout the centre.

The website reads: "Churchill Square’s non-essential retail stores will open on Monday, April 12, and whilst we can’t wait to see you again, we want to reassure you that the wellbeing of our employees, retailers and shoppers continues to be our top priority."

The centre's "core shopping" hours will be:

Monday – Wednesday, 9am – 6pm

Thursday – Saturday, 9am – 7pm

Sunday 11am – 5pm

Several sites within Churchill Square continued to operate a click and collect service throughout the pandemic but they are now allowed to fully open.
