Police believe a missing man is currently sleeping rough.

A search has been launched to find David Ganning from Chichester, who has not been seen for more than a week.

The 63-year-old was reported missing on Friday, April 2, having not been seen for a few days beforehand.

He is white with thin grey hair and tattoos on his forearms.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "It’s thought David may be sleeping rough in the Chichester area, and he is also known to frequent the South Downs Way fishing lakes.

"Anyone who sees him or who has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1260 of 02/04."
