A MAN has been charged with burglary after an incident at a town centre pharmacy.
Police were called after a man was seen smashing the windows of the Kamsons store in Hastings.
A witness intervened to stop the man getting into the pharmacy at the York Buildings at 1.45am yesterday (Thursday, April 8).
The suspect left the scene and nothing was taken.
Police say a man was arrested nearby in Castle Hill Road.
The force said that Craig McNicol, 35, of Ashford Road, Hastings, was charged with burglary other than a dwelling with intent to steal.
McNicol was due to appear before Brighton Magistrates’ Court today (Friday, April 9).
