A MAN has been charged with burglary after an incident at a town centre pharmacy.

Police were called after a man was seen smashing the windows of the Kamsons store in Hastings.

A witness intervened to stop the man getting into the pharmacy at the York Buildings at 1.45am yesterday (Thursday, April 8).

The suspect left the scene and nothing was taken.

Police say a man was arrested nearby in Castle Hill Road.
