A MAN driving a dented Range Rover has been Tasered and arrested by police this afternoon.
The 4x4 was pursued by two police cars as it pulled into a car park in Langley Green, Crawley, with the driver then climbing out of the car and beginning to shout.
Footage of the incident shows the man crashing to the ground with a thud as he is Tasered, with four officers then moving in to restrain him.
Witnesses said the incident happened at about 1.30pm.
Onlookers noted the Range Rover had a large dent in its front passenger door as it swung into the car park, and speculated that the car could have been involved in a police chase before coming to a stop.
Two police cars followed the 4x4 into the car park seconds later with their sirens blaring.
A man can be heard shouting: "Get out of the way now. Get out of the f***ing way. Get away."
He is then Tasered by one of the officers, jerking bolt upright before rigidly falling to the floor with a loud thud.
"Roll over," the police officer nearest to him shouts before being joined by three more officers.
Together, they roll the man on to his front and restrain him, placing his hands behind his back and putting him in handcuffs.
The man continues to scream as police pin him to the floor.
