POLICE have identified two youths who were sought in connection with an assault on a cyclist.
The 72-year-old was riding along the undercliff in Saltdean when he was confronted.
He was kicked off his bike, leaving him with a broken hand, police said.
Officers appealed for information to track down those responsible and released images of two youngsters.
They have now been identified.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "The two youths previously pictured in our appeal have since been identified and police enquiries are ongoing.
"Thanks to anyone who came forward with information."
