A MAN has been charged with drug and traffic offences after officers discovered 15 kilograms of cannabis in a car.

Officers stopped a vehicle in Preston Road, Brighton, on Monday, April 12 at 11pm after officers noticed suspicious behaviour.

A search of the vehicle found 15 kilograms of cannabis inside.

Jonis Zenelak, of no fixed address, was arrested and later charged with possession with intent to supply class B drugs.

The 25-year-old was also charged with driving without a license and without insurance.

Zenelak appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 13 and has been remanded in custody.

He will appear at crown court on May 11.

A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "A man has appeared in court in Brighton charged with drug and traffic offences.

"Zenelak appeared at Brighton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 13 and has been remanded in custody.

"He will appear at crown court on May 11."
