Although eBay, Depop and Vinted may be handy sites to make a few bob, nothing beats flogging your unwanted goods at a boot sale.

Brighton Marina car boot sale

Brighton's oldest car boot sale reopened last weekend and is back on Sunday 25 April for more buying and selling. 

There is no need to book a space as the car boot sale operates on a first come first served basis and sellers are asked to bring their own PPE to adhere to current COVID regulations. 

There is free customer parking and admission as well as attended toilets and disabled parking on level nine west.

Mega Car Boots at Sayers Common

Mega Car Boots at Sayers Common is one of the longest established car boots in West Sussex

The car boot is located just off A23 in Mill lane (B2118) opposite Hickstead Showground.

Sellers can arrive from 8am and pitches are priced from £12. 

Buyers can arrive from 9am and parking costs £1.50 - buyers can turn up before 9am  but parking tickets will cost £3.

Shoreham Flyover car boot sale

Shoreham Flyover car boot sale is a regular Sunday market held throughout the summer nestling in the beautiful Sussex countryside, just off the A27.

This countryside boot sale is reopening on Sunday 23 May, weather and ground condition permitting. 

Sellers can arrive from 7am, buyers from 8am - the sale goes on until the early afternoon with everyone packed up and away at 2pm. 

There's no need to book, sellers can just turn up. Cars cost £10, trailers £2 and vans from £12.

The car park is marshalled and costs £1 per car.

Brighton Racecourse car boot sale

Self-proclaimed as the only of its kind in the city, the Brighton Racecourse car boot sale is back reopens on Sunday, 25 April (weather permitting).

Sellers can turn up before 7.30am for a space at the sale, selling tickets cost £10 per pitch. 

Buyers can arrive from 8.30am onwards, tickets cost £2.50 each between 8.30-10.30 and 80p from 10.30 onwards.

Chichester car boot sale

Chichester car boot sale reopened at the weekend and is now bank on every Sunday and bank holiday Monday through summer. 

Operating for buyers between 10.30am and 3pm the car boot sale has put in a number of COVID safety measures in place and asks that everyone attending wears masks.

Sellers can arrive between 7:30 to 10:30am and pitches are offered on a first come first served basis - one pitch costs £9, two cost £16 and three cost £22.
