HAIRDRESSERS across Brighton and Hove have opened their doors for the first time this year after being closed for more than three months.

After lockdown restrictions were eased last week, many headed straight back to their trusted stylist or barber to get that much-needed trim.

Months of DIY cuts and box-dye botch-ups had started to take its toll, and with high demand many salons have been booked well in advance as people aimed to get back at the first available opportunity.

Social media has been flooded with pictures of people showing off their brilliant new barnets, but many of us are still waiting for our appointment.

But are you struggling to decide where to go for your first pamper of the year? Or are you just intrigued to see where you hairdresser rank among Brighton and Hove’s best?

We have looked through the Google reviews for hairdressers across the city to find salons with highest rating based on more than 100 reviews.

Voted for by customers, Google reviews give people the chance to see real opinions from scores of clients so they can weigh up where to go next for their haircut.
