A ROBBER clad in a balaclava brandished a knife as he raided a convenience shop.
The man went into the Apex Convenience Store in Station Parade, Eastbourne yesterday (April 20).
He was armed with a “large knife” and threatened the store owner to hand over cash from the till.
The robber took the till, emptying its contents from the counter during the incident at 5.13pm.
Police say he wore a black hooded top with white strings, blue trousers and a full face balaclava.
He is 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall, and fled the area on foot towards The Avenue and Upperton Gardens.
Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses.
Detective Constable Jo Lane said: “"If you saw this man or have any other information that would help, especially if you have any dashcam footage or CCTV, please contact us at Eastbourne CID.”
