A THUG appeared in court for attacking a woman.

Reece Harrison admitted an assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Moulsecoomb.

The 25-year-old also admitted an assault on the same woman when they were in London together.

At Brighton Magistrates’ Court it was also revealed how Harrison had caused criminal damage to a radiator, furniture, and the victim’s personal belongings.

During the first assault in London he also damaged her mobile phone.

The court noted his crimes were committed “against a vulnerable person”.

Harrison, of Fox Way, Portslade, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The offences took place in London on August 16 last year, and in Brighton in December last year.

Harrison was jailed for 30 weeks. He was ordered to pay £200 compensation to the woman, a £128 surcharge and £85 costs.

The court also imposed a restraining order on Harrison, ordering him not to contact the victim within the next two years.
