AN UNCOUTH woman spat in the face of a police officer during a disturbance.
Police were called to Ingram Crescent West in Hove over an incident.
Lucy Papadopoulos was there, and she assaulted PC Casey Blake.
Brighton Magistrates’ Court heard how the 26-year-old “spat in the face” of the officer.
The court noted it was a “highly unpleasant” act in the middle of a pandemic.
It took place on January 20 this year.
Papadopoulos, of Hanover Crescent, Brighton, admitted assault.
She was given a 12-week suspended prison sentence over the boorish behaviour.
The court ordered her to complete 100 hours of unpaid work and to pay £200 in compensation to PC Blake.
She must also complete five rehabilitation sessions and pay a £128 surcharge and £85 costs following the hearing in court last month.
