A LAND Rover has been seized by police after a driver abandoned it in a ditch on a nature reserve.
Police say the 4x4 was driven "recklessly" through the Pagham Harbour Local Nature Reserve yesterday before being dumped.
Sussex Police Rural Crime Team shared a picture of the scene on social media, showing the car apparently stuck at a 30 degree angle with its bumper buried in a trench.
The vehicle has since been removed.
A caption accompanying the image read: "If you leave your car parked like this after driving it recklessly through a nature reserve, we will seize it."
