A FIRE crew have helped free a lorry after it became stuck on scaffolding.

Crews from Midhurst station were waved down after a delivery lorry came into contact with the building stricture.

An image shared by the station show crews scaling a ladder, to help free to vehicle from the scaffolding.

Writing on Twitter, the station said: "Whilst returning to station we were waved down following a delivery lorry coming into contact with scaffolding.

"After liaising with the scaffold company crews were able to safely free the vehicle without any damage."

Just last month, a lorry almost toppled over on Brighton seafront after it became beached on the pebbles.

Video and pictures showed truck's firmly wedged on the beach on its left side, causing it to get stuck.
