A FAMOUS singer and songwriter is offering fans the chance to spend an evening with him on a spoken word tour.

Bruce Dickinson, 62, is best known for his work as the lead singer of Iron Maiden. The musician is now touring the country on a spoken word tour where guests will also be able to ask the man himself questions, the more left-field the better.

There is more to Bruce then just Iron Maiden. The singer is also a qualified pilot, aviation entrepreneur, beer brewer, motivational speaker, film scriptwriter, a novelist, radio presenter, TV actor, sports commentator and even an international fencer.

As part of the show Bruce will deliver stories about his life on and off the stage, which undoubtedly will be uniquely fascinating. The heavy metal star will give the audience a glimpse into Iron Maiden with anecdotes.

These stories will include details of the heights of fame but also the extreme lows that fame can bring too. Bruce will also take a satirical look at the world from his own perspective.

The stories will be told first-hand in Bruce’s anarchic style. There will also be supporting material such as photographs, videos and potentially even the occasional eruption into song a-capella. The question-and-answer segment will be entirely improvised.

The show will be performed up and down the UK but will start in Brighton. Bruce will be performing at the Theatre Royal in August. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster on April 29.
