A TEENAGER was punched as a group of attackers stole his bike from him in a park robbery.

The 16-year-old was walking in Hove Park with three other friends at 4.30pm on Wednesday, April 7, when they were approached by a group of about seven people.

The victim was punched and pulled off his orange and black Scott Scale mountain bike, which was then stolen by the attackers.

Police say the suspects are boys aged between 16 and 18 years old and they were wearing dark clothing and hooded jumpers.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw any suspicious behaviour in the area around that time, or who may have seen the stolen bike, is asked to get in touch with police.
