A CAR was found abandoned on a pebble beach this morning.
Confused walkers in Marine Parade on Worthing seafront spotted the black Ford Fiesta on the beach near the Splashpoint Leisure Centre earlier today.
Photos show a bollard flattened nearby, and the car appears stuck in the pebbles.
The pictures prompted amusement on social media, with one Twitter user pointing out there are "no double yellows" on the beach.
While another speculated that the driver had "been for a romantic evening stroll and forgot the car".
Sussex Police have been contacted for more information.
