A MAN has been arrested after two cars collided on a busy roundabout.

Police were called to a report of dangerous driving involving a silver Mercedes Coupe and a silver Vauxhall Corsa in Eastbourne at around 11.00am on Sunday, April 25.

The Corsa had been driving along Dittons Road, before turning right at the roundabout onto Adur Drive. The Mercedes had approached the roundabout from Adur Drive.

It was reported the vehicles were involved in a collision on the roundabout before both travelling along Friday Street, Langley Rise, Marsden Road and then Ashgate Road.

The Corsa then continued back to Marsden Road before heading along Etchingham Road and Priory Road.

A man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously and has been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.

A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "Officers investigating the matter are keen to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle travelling in the area, or who may have captured any relevant dash cam footage.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 510 of 25/04."
