CCTV images have been released as fears grow for a missing woman.

Rebecca Chase left her family's home in Ringmer Road, Worthing at about 7.30pm on Thursday, with no explanation about where she was going and no mobile phone.

Police have established the 25-year-old was walking around Worthing town centre at 9.21pm that evening and CCTV images which show her at that time have been released.

The last confirmed sighting of Rebecca was at 9.28pm in the vicinity of Ambrose Place.

Officers are urging anyone who with relevant CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage in the Ambrose Place and Lyndhurst Road areas to come forward.

Rebecca is white, about 5ft 2in tall, with short red hair with mousey roots showing, and was last seen wearing a pink and grey oversized hoody and grey and pink trainers, which are possibly Reebok.

Anyone who sees Rebecca is asked to dial 999, quoting serial 1447 of 13/05.
