I WAS somewhat dismayed by the letter writer from Lancing who was complaining about all the protests that have been held in Brighton recently.
Does he not understand the passion that a lot of people feel for what they believe to be injustices in our world and try to do something about it?
Perhaps he should Google protests that have changed things for the better for many people, for instance the Suffragettes who sacrificed their lives in standing up for rights for women.
He no doubt has females in his family circle who would agree with me?
Someone has to step up sometimes to defend our rights and to create systemic change, social and political.
Good luck to him with his protest about the protests. I trust this will take place in Lancing where this sort of activity will create quite a stir.
