PUBS and restaurants welcomed customers back through their doors as Covid-19 restrictions are loosened.

Now, the increased capacity means there will be less reliance on booking systems and more opportunity for people to walk in without a reservation.

All venues should be offering table service but still be abiding by the rule of six indoors.

Here are five great places where you won't need to book.

1. The Bee’s Mouth, Western Road

One of the coolest little bars in Brighton is operating entirely on a walk-in basis. The bar only reopened briefly last autumn but has been shut since the second lockdown.

The Bee's Mouth is intimate and filled with vibrant colours and decor. The bar itself has a wide range of beers to choose from along with cocktails and wine.

There will be table service for groups of up to six people. Customers will have to get there quickly before it fills up for the night.

With two big gardens that have been open since April 12, customers can now venture inside too.
