FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a residential block to tackle a fire.
Six engines were sent to the scene at Farley Bank in Hastings.
A cherry picker was used to help douse the flames in the top floor of one of the properties.
East Sussex and Fire and Rescue Service said: "We are currently attending a fire at a residential property in Farley Bank, Hastings.
"We have six appliances in attendance. All persons are accounted for. Please avoid the area."
The service said crews are using specialist breathing kit and two hose reel jets to put out the flames.
