A MOBILE vaccination service is offering jabs to people over the age of 32.

The converted bus is a vaccination centre on wheels reaching people struggling to travel to appointments.

Brighton and Hove City Council said it is expanding into new areas of the city this week.

Visits are taking place in Hove, Kemptown and Moulsecoomb as well as its regular visit to St Peter's Church.

"The quieter, more personal service is great for people who don't feel ready to go out to busy places after the long lockdown, or whose schedule makes it easier to drop-in on the day," a city council spokesman said.

"It's a great alternative for anyone who can't get to the main vaccination centers at the Brighton Centre, the Racecourse and County Oak too.

"Some drop-in appointments are available on the day, but to be sure of being seen it is best to book ahead."
