We would like to say a big thank you in your pages for the generosity of local businessman Robbie Raggio.
Robbie proved the spirit of Christmas is alive and well in the city by donating £1,000 to us to organise some festive celebrations for deserving causes in and around Hangleton.
We gave £300 to the Hangleton Get Together group for older people, £300 to Churchill House, £200 to the Forget Me Not Club, £100 to St Richard's Lunch Club and a further £100 to the Lion's Gate group for another Christmas do.
We were delighted to see the older people having such a great time and we're lucky to have a kind person like Robbie sharing his success with others at this time of year.
- Dawn Barnett, Tony Janio, David Smart, Conservative councillors for Hangleton.
