SINGER Nick Cave has delighted fans by announcing a special livestream to mark the physical release of his new album.
The Brighton-based musician will appear alongside his bandmate Warren Ellis to answer questions from fans about their Carnage record.
It will be broadcast on YouTube Premiere at 7pm on June 18 and will be available online following the streaming event.
Fans can submit a question using the hashtag #talkcarnage on social media, or comment on the official Nick Cave Instagram or Facebook posts by midnight on June 5.
Nick described the album as “a brutal but very beautiful record embedded in a communal catastrophe".
He recorded the album, with Warren, a long-term member of the Bad Seeds, over a period of weeks at the Soundtree studios in London.
Nick and Warren first crossed paths in 1993.

Warren played violin on several songs for the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds album, Let Love In, before going on to join the band as a full time member.
The two have also recorded as Grinderman, formed in 2006, and have composed and recorded numerous, film, TV and theatre soundtracks together.
However, this is the first time they have released an entire album of songs as a duo, with Nick writing all the lyrics on the album and producing the music in collaboration with Warren.
Nick played piano, synthesiser and percussion on the record while Warren played an array of instruments, including the viola and synthesiser, and recorded all the backing vocals.
The album has received rave reviews from critics, who have praised the songwriter for capturing the mood of the pandemic.
Nick teased the release of the Carnage in a post on his fan-forum the Red Hand Files.
The announcement came after the band cancelled their already rescheduled UK and European tour due to the coronavirus pandemic.
