BAGFULS of cannabis plants have been seized by police after a drugs bust.
Officers swooped on Albany Villas in Hove earlier this week and an address was sealed off.
Neighbours reported seeing police carrying out a search warrant at the property.
Inside, police found a cannabis factory with hundreds of plants being grown in 11 rooms.
There were more than 350 plants found in total.
According to Allen Morgan Associates law firm, each plant could yield an average of 50 grams per plant.
Cannabis street value is between £10 to £15 per gram, so the estimated value of 350 plants could range from £175,000 to more than £260,000.
Neighbours reported seeing officers and police staff bagging up the plants and taking them away as evidence.
The class B drugs will be confiscated and destroyed.
Images from the scene show how police have cordoned off the property with tape.
Sussex Police said: "On Tuesday evening June 8, officers went to an address at Albany Villas, Hove, following a report of illegal activity.
"A large scale commercial cannabis site was discovered inside in some 11 rooms where 350 plants were in various stages of cultivation.
"Two men aged 25 and 23 were arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation, abstracting electricity and theft of a mobile from a motor vehicle parked nearby.
"The 23-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of being illegally in the UK.
"After being interviewed they were released on police bail until July 6 while enquiries continue."
