Brighton under-23's skipper Teddy Jenks is set for the first loan move of his career.

The 19-year-old is set to join Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen on a season-long loan according to reports in Scotland.

Jenks has a terrific season for the U23's, scoring eight goals and getting two assists in the BPL 2 to help Albion to a ninth-place finish.

He was also handed his first-team debut in September as he came off the bench for the Seagulls in their Carabao Cup third round win over Preston.

He has also been capped England at U15's and U17's level and earnt his first call-up to the U19's squad this season.

The midfielder should get some valuable experience for Aberdeen in the Scottish top flight and also could get a chance to play in Europe with the Dons involved in UEFA's brand new competition, the Europa Conference League, which will be played on Thursday evenings alongside the Europa League.
