THERE were severe delays on the A27 this morning due to a five-car crash.
The road was partially blocked and traffic was queuing due to the crash on the A27 Eastbound between A2038 King George Vi Avenue Hove turn off and A23 London Road.
The AA said the incident was first reported at 5.55am.
There were severe delays of 21 minutes on the A27 Eastbound between A270 Upper Shoreham Road Holmbush turn off and A23 London Road.
Traffic sensors reported the average speed was five mph.
At about 8.45am, a spokeswoman for Sussex Police said no injuries were reported and the route is now clear.
