PEOPLE are being told to "avoid the area" after a lorry crashed into scaffolding.
The fire service was called to Market Square, Petworth, at 6.25am this morning.
A lorry full of calves collided with scaffolding at Rosewarnes estate agents.
No injuries were reported and a crew from Midhurst Fire Station is working with police to ensure safety in the area.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "Please if possible avoid Market Square in Petworth.
"A Lorry has crashed into scaffolding which is causing long delays of traffic within the area."
