FATHER'S Day will take place in the UK on Sunday, and there is little time to figure out plans for the special men in our lives.
Those who want to celebrate the day with their dad will have to think about how to show their appreciation soon.
In Sussex, there are plenty of activities that people can do with their dads that are sure to go down well.
Brighton Footgolf - Hangleton Lane, Hove
For those dads who are active and like their sports, especially football and golf, Brighton Football golf is perfect.
Like the name, the sport combines football and golf. Players must kick a ball around a golf course, with bigger holes, in as few shots as possible. It is a fairly affordable activity too.
To play nine holes, the price is £9 for adults and £5 for those under 16s. If you want to play a full 18 holes, the price is £15 for adults and £8 for those under 16.
Student discount is also available as long as a card is provided. There is also a ten per cent discount for over 65s.
For £1 more people can hire one of the club's specially designed footgolf balls.
A steak dinner
If your dad likes his food, then why not take them to the best steakhouse in Brighton. Baqueano in Western Road, the highest-rated steak specialists on TripAdvisor, have many different types of steaks on their menu.
The Argentinian restaurant has five different cuts of steak such as fillet, rib-eye, sirloin, skirt and super rib-eye steak. They also have burgers and vegetarian options available.
Sightseeing
The Brighton i360 will provide the ultimate vantage point over Sussex. From the top of the 162-metre observation tower, it is possible to see down to Worthing, the South Downs and the English Channel.
Prices vary depending on which one of the three packages people choose. The most expensive choice is £25, but it comes with a glass of wine, which could be enjoyed with a stunning view.
However, there is currently a ten per cent discount on this deal.
The annual celebration of dads always takes place on the third Sunday of June. Our celebration is based on the US date. However, other countries around the world celebrate Father's Day at different times throughout the year.
