AN IMAGINATIVE art exhibition displaying over 60 original pieces is due to open.

T Boy is opening his first solo exhibition on July 16 at the Dynamite Gallery in Trafalgar Street, Brighton. The show will feature spray can work, graffiti art, street art and pop art.

Among the displays, there will be ten large exclusive originals for people to see. The work of T Boy is described as thought-provoking and amusing.

Since starting in 1986, T Boy has gained a reputation for pushing the boundaries of the world of currency art, combining music, money, graffiti and science fiction.

T Boy studied at Worthing Art College on a foundation course and later went on to do a course in 3D design with fine art.

After leaving Worthing, he started an apprenticeship as a frame maker and gilder, which helped him develop techniques and taught him about different artists.

He has always wanted to become a full-time artist; an aim he has achieved. During the lockdown, he has explored new ideas and concepts, contributing to his first solo exhibition.

As well as the chance to see the unique art exhibition, people who get tickets to the show will be able to expect a free giveaway to the first 30 attending on the night and a selection of exclusive T-shirts.
