A DRIVER has spent the night in a custody suite after they were caught driving under the influence of alcohol whilst disqualified.
Officers from Sussex Police stopped the car in Chichester last night after it was spotted with no insurance.
After stopping the vehicle, it was discovered that the driver, who is disqualified from driving, was also under the influence of alcohol.
Sharing an image of the car on Twitter, Sussex Roads Police said the driver spent the night in one of the "custody suites".

A spokesman said: "We have assisted our colleagues from Chichester Police with stopping this vehicle in Chichester.
"The driver is disqualified, uninsured and also under the influence of alcohol.
"They are heading off for a stay in one of our custody suites."
