A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Dushane Meikel, 27, was wanted in connection with the murder of Billy Henham, 24, whose body was found at a disused building in North Street, Brighton, last year.

Specialist Enforcement Officers arrested Meikle in Hove last night after an appeal for information.

Two other men aged 25 and 27 were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and all three are in custody.

In May, The Argus reported how three men had been charged with the murder of Billy, whose body was found Thursday, January 2, 2020.

These are Alize Spence, 18, of Makepeace Road, Ealing, Lamech Gordon-Carew, 20, of Cheeseman Close, Hampton, and Gregory Hawley, 28, of no fixed address.

Police launched a murder investigation and closed off the area for several days in the wake of the incident.

In January, Billy's heartbroken family made a plea for witnesses to come forward, a year on from his death.
