THREE men have been charged after a 22-year-old man died following a late night street fight.
The men were arrested in connection with the death of Thomas Kelly, almost four years ago.
Callum Beale, 24, of Furnace Green, Crawley, and David Marr, 26. of Ifield, Crawley, have been charged with manslaughter and causing grievous bodily harm.
A third man, John Marr, 31, of Northgate, Crawley, has been charged with affray.
They will all appear before Crawley Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
Police are continuing to appeal for information following Mr Kelly's death.
They are investigating an altercation in Crawley at around 3am on October 21, 2017.
The incident involved people in three cars - two Suzukis and a grey or black BMW.
Sussex Police said there was a "verbal altercation" before a fight started outside Lloyds Barbers.
Mr Kelly was injured and died in hospital on November 3, two weeks after the fight took place.
Detective chief inspector Joe Robeson said: "Our thoughts remain with Thomas's family during this difficult time.
"This represents a significant development in our investigation, and we continue to appeal to the public for any information that may assist with our enquires.
"Anyone with information is urged to report online or call 101, quoting Operation Ideford."
