Police arrested a 45-year-old man following the altercation at the Nags Head in St Leonards on Friday night
A MAN has been arrested after a fight in a pub.
Police are appealing for witnesses after an altercation in the Nags Head in Gensing Street, St Leonards, just before midnight on Friday.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating after the incident, which involved a woman in her twenties.
He was interviewed and has been released on police bail until July 24 while enquiries continue.
PC Matt Pearmain said: "We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this.
