A BODY has been found following concerns for a man in Newhaven.
About 5.15am, police were called following concerns for a man in Avis Road.
Officers attended the scene, assisted by the ambulance service, and the man was pronounced dead.
There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed, Sussex Police said.
A spokesman said: "About 5.15am on Thursday 1 July, police were called following concerns for a man in Avis Road, Newhaven.
"There are no suspicious circumstances and the coroner’s officer has been informed."
