WHEN are Brighton and Hove/Adur Council going to clear the pavements and gutters in the roads? The weeds are now like mini trees.
When the grass verges are eventually cut, the cuttings are left in mounds on the verges, spilling out on to the pavement and in the gutters.
The cuttings in the gutters adding to the already growing problem of the weeds, subsequently blocking drains.
How on earth is the rain water suppose to drain away properly?
Sometimes the weeds on the pavements merge with those in the gutter, making it even harder for people with mobility issues and those using aids
to step off the pavement safely as the kerb is no longer visible.
I am sure there are many people looking for a job, maybe part-time during the summer, to help to clear our pavements and gutters to make them safer all around.
