BRIGHTON is set to be hit by gusts of up to 50mph during an 11-hour weather warning covering much of the South Coast.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning from 1am tomorrow morning to 12pm, with strong winds set to slam the Sussex.
The warning covers the south of England from Weymouth to Dover, as well as coastal parts of Essex and Suffolk.

Wind gusts are predicted to increase by around 11pm this evening, peaking at around 50mph by 7am tomorrow morning.
Heavy rain is also expected tonight but will mostly clear by 6am tomorrow.
The Met Office warns that those in affected areas should expect:
- some delays to road, rail, air and ferry services
- delays to journeys by bus and rail
- some damage to temporary outdoor structures
- delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges
They also warned that some coastal communities and seafronts will likely be affected by ocean spray and large waves.
Sunnier weather should return to Brighton later in the afternoon tomorrow and is set to stay until at least Friday, with highs of 19C.
