I FULLY agree with removing restrictions for Covid where people can exercise choice, such as restaurants and cinema/theatre.

However people have no choice on buses or using shops.

The mask is to protect others, not yourself (unless you have an industrial class mask and can correctly remove it), so I fail to see any degree of choice when using public transport as is widely used on the school run.

Only one infected pupil can spread the virus to all schools along the route and infect other members of the public too.

Remember the virus is contagious, not infectious, so anything breathed on can have the virus until cleaned for up to 48 hours on natural fabrics, longer on plastics etc. Cold areas in shops such as fridges can be highly infected.

Most children will not be harmed by the virus, however we have a large asthmatic population who will get ill, including children.

Some people with immunity issues cannot benefit from the vaccine, and most jabs give up to 90 per cent protection, far less from the first jab.

Not mentioned (and in the leaflet only once a jab is received) are the details of the GM medicine in the vaccine which will cause issues for veggies, vegans and some religions.  Hence the low take-up in countries such as India.
