A £50,000 haul of gold jewellery has been stolen from a home in Crawley.

Sussex Police said burglars broke into the home in Burlands between 11.15pm and 12.45pm on Wednesday, June 16.

The force said offenders stole thousands of pounds of jewellery including rings, bangles, earrings, and brooches.

Detective Constable Paul Hudson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in that area on 16 June.

"We are also keen to hear from anyone who has been offered this any of this jewellery (pictured).
