THE world's biggest inflatable obstacle course is coming to Sussex next month.

The Labyrinth Challenge, a 1,000ft long obstacle course, will be on show at the South of England Showground in Ardingly between August 5 and 8.

The course, which holds the record for the longest and widest inflatable obstacle course in the world, has a capacity of up to 400 participants an hour and features 30 obstacles in five themed zones.

The family event in West Sussex, called The Labyrinth Challenge Summer XL, will also include a circus and a funfair for families to enjoy.

Trevor Collins, from the Labyrinth Challenge Summer XL, said the four-day event will be the “family event of the summer”.

"Thousands across the county have already enjoyed the hurdles, climbing walls, tunnels and slides of the Labyrinth Challenge, but this year we wanted to do something bigger while still keeping it affordable for families,” he said.

"There's flexible ticketing available with a number of options, including an adult-only session for the Labyrinth Challenge on the Saturday night and a mini version of the inflatable course for those aged between five and nine.

"With free parking and refreshments on site, we hope people will make a day of it. You never know they may even need to bring their sun cream."

Labyrinth Challenge Summer XL will be open daily between 10am and 5pm, while 18+ sessions will be able available between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on August 7.
